Here's today's project: Mrs. Ferry at New Bridge Elementary in Ogden, UT wants to build STEM technology into her special education classroom.

"All of my students have special needs & special ways of learning. It may take them longer to learn, but they are learning. About a half of my class is made up of English Language Learners. I teach in a new STEM school where technology is a major tool in the classroom. I want to promote STEM lessons & activities with technology because my students are often discouraged when they struggle to do the projects their peers are doing in the regular classroom. I'd like to bring the same motivating opportunities into my moderate special education classroom to allow my students to feel successful. Students will use these three iPad minis to communicate, research, investigate, and learn. They will become readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, and engineers. Students will learn academics and life skills using these iPads and the many apps available! Can you help us?" - Mrs. Ferry
