According to a new study by The Ladders job-matching service, hiring managers spend only six seconds reviewing a resume before deciding if you are a good candidate! 

I always heard in college that they spent less than 4 minutes with your resume, but 6 seconds is WILD. Visual layout & organization are almost as important as your job experience now.  Check out this article about the research project.
