If you grew up listening to Christian music, you remember Carman. He's famous for songs like The Champion & God in America Again. He's been diagnosed with Myeloma Cancer. His doctors told him it's incurable and he's been givien a 3-4 year window to live. Let's pray for God to heal him!

Happy Valentine's Day! A couple years ago, we wanted to take some Valentine's pictures with our daughter Naomi. So we put out all the frosting & cookies in front of her and told her, "DON'T EAT IT." (Just cause we knew we'd get some great pics of her plotting how to pull it all off!)
It's about the story of Hosea & his wife Gomer, but it's more about grace and how God pursues us when we're not really seeking him. Click below for the audio!
As a dad with a little daughter, I can totally relate to this!
You may be able to file your Federal income taxes for free! Check this out. There's an option for those who make under $57,000 and there is an option for some who make over $57,000 too.
If you live in an area with state income tax, look for the Free File vendors locally who offer tax assistance. There's also IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and Tax Counseling for Elderly Americans to e-file tax return for free. Goodwill has a volunteer tax assistance in some areas and some states offer tax preparation services for low-income filers too.
OK so maybe "break" wasn't the right word. Maybe it was just a cheap ploy to get your attention.
If I have it, check this out:

I’ve been reading Jud Wilhite’s new book Pursued and it’s about the story of Hosea in the Bible. He was a prophet and God told him to marry a prostitute! The story obviously talks about marriage, but it’s really a parallel to God’s relationship with his people. It’s about how he pursues us and loves us even when we’re not fully understanding or seeking him.
The book talks about how we take the wrong approach when we think we’ve done certain things FOR God. So HE should be obligated to do certain things for US, such as forgive US or dump a ton of blessings in OUR life. However, Jud Wilhite says “that’s like approaching God with a religious car salesman attitude.”
