DOWNHERE-HERE I AM
I love this speech. If you see my family, you'll notice I don't look a thing like my kids. We have Black, White, Hispanic and a little of this and a little of that. Racism is something we have had to face. I am sure that it is nothing compared to the generations before us, but unfortunately it still takes place today. The sentence below has become my prayer.
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." - MLK

It's a poem about why Jesus is better than religion. This video comes with a warning, I've watched it at least ten times, and I'm still trying to sort out what it means to me.

Seven-year-old Tori Svenson decided that she wanted to do something to help another child in her neighborhood who was fighting cancer. Sverson, moved by her little friend's cancer battle, decided to launch a fundraiser for the little girl. The very same day that Sverson went to deliver the fundraising money, Sverson found out that she too had cancer.
