I've heard all the fears and doubts that come up when someone is thinking about becoming a Foster Parent. Most of the questions I have had to face myself..... How can I love a child and let them go? How can we afford it? How can I fix a broken child? I wrestled with these same questions six years ago when I was getting ready to dive into the world of Foster Parenting. The video below is 4 minutes long, if I would've had this video 6 years ago...... it would have saved weeks of struggles I had with these doubts and fears. If you have ever prayed or thought about becoming a Foster Parent..... I encourage you to watch the video below.
Spending months on the road with the Rock and Worship Road Show has to make you a little crazy. Here's what happens when Mercy Me, Tenth Ave North, Sidewalk Prophets, Lecrae and others have spare time on their hands.
I feel like I've been living under a rock lately. I am so busy that my DVR is burning up. I finally had a chance to sit down and watch this weeks American Idol.........WOW. I know some aren't big fans of the show for different reasons, but isn't it amazing how God can use a secular show. Shannon Magrane is 16 and this past week she sang "Go Light Your World." I think I know who I'm voting for from here on out!
This song is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I love the reminder that we aren't home yet. Here's the video...
Have you filled up your gas tank lately? Am I the only one feeling a little sticker shock at the pump? When gas prices start to rise, I start searching for the best deal on gas in my neighborhood. This website GasBuddy.com shows me where the cheapest gas is in my zip code..... Now, I don't have to drive all over searching for the best deal... I can just punch in my zip code and head off.
