THIRD DAY-BORN AGAIN
We ordered my 3 year daughter a special kid's book called, What’s True About You. It reinforces all the values about how God uniquely and wonderfully made each of us. It’s cool because they specifically put your child's name in the story when you order it
online. So in our case, it says "what’s true about you Naomi?” all through the book.
Every night before bed she says, "We read Naomi so sweet?" She thinks that’s the name of the book…. but it’s cool cause the values are subtly sinking in! Check it out at Whatstrueaboutyou.com
Everyone told Marc Martel from Downhere that he sounded like Freddie Mercury from Queen. When the remaining members of Queen decided to do a new world tour, they held a competition for a new vocalist. Fans encouraged Marc to try out, and he thought, "Well, let's see if the members of Queen think I sound like Freddie!"
He WON the competition. It worked out because a couple of band members in Downhere were having babies this year, so they were already planning to take some time off. He's not leaving the band.
A woman called this morning asking about rights for her children in the public schools. I've posted resources below!
Her daughters want to sing a Christian song in the school talent show, but the administrators said, "NO." She asked about some resources to help.
Students have a lot more rights than they realize in the public school system, but they have to exercise them. We as parents are a little more limited- but our kids are free to live out their faith. That includes having bible clubs on school property, wearing religious clothing & jewelry, they can organize prayer groups on school property and talk about their faith with other students.
National Career Fairs announced plans to hold a big job fair Tuesday 4/24/12 in Ontario, CA. The job fair is scheduled to be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hilton Ontario Airport Hotel, 700 N. Haven Ave in, Ontario.

Last Summer we took 40 listeners on a mission trip to Kalapuwa Sri & Samudra Sri in Sri Lanka. It's an amazing children's home & leadership academy. They care for about 200 orphans.
