Please pray for Aaron Shust's new son Michael. He has down syndrome and been fighting for his life in the hospital NICU with a serious infection. Here's the daily updates from Aaron.
This is what Aaron's 5 year old son Daniel said at school this week:

I love Celebrity Apprentice. I like seeing how people think and how they work under pressure - plus they do some really cool charity work too! The new season kicks off soon.
If you want to engage culture and connect, you generally want to be relevant. But when do you feel it can go too far?
One listener named Jeff called in after our movie review for Joyful Noise this morning and had a few thoughts & challenges in regard to language and relationships. He works in Hollywood where he produces movies & TV and wanted to start a discussion.
Kim emailed in asking how to explain to her husband that going to a so called "gentlemen's club" is bad for their marriage. Listeners called in with advice and encouragement. This was really interesting.

January 14-16 – Martin Luther King Jr. weekend
I spent the end of last week in Atlanta at Passion 2012 and the coolest moment for me was standing next to Matt Maher as they were closing out the night on Wednesday.
Matt Maher wrote all the music for Passion 2012 with Chris Tomlin & Jason Ingram. They spend 2 weeks at Chris Tomlin's house writing back in April, and then they came back in November and finished them up. As I looked out over the Georgia Dome at 45,000 college students singing and yelling with their hands in the air, I looked over and Matt Marr was standing next to me.
He was yelling out the words he wrote and pointing his finger up in the air singing, “ We raise our white flag, we surrender all to you…. It’s all for you…… we raise our white flag, the war over…. love has come…. your love has won!”
Very interesting article from Kara Powell from Fuller Youth Institute talking about why so many students don’t stick with their Christian faith after high school. (This was on Relevantmagazine.com)
She says there’s a sociologist names Tim Clydesdale— who says after students graduate from high school. They place important parts of themselves in an "identity lock-box," and their faith is often part of that.
