When I was 17 I was hired at a mainstream pop radio station in Detroit, Michigan. I was a Christian and I saw a lot of temptations in front of me at that job. I asked my past youth pastor Kevin if he would meet with me every 2 weeks and ask me a series of questions to help hold me accountabile. Over the next 5 years we developed a really deep relationship that actually held each other accountable. He asked me the tough questions, but he also answered those questions openly to me. It was a HUGE breakthrough in my faith journey. HUGE.
