HOW SWEET THE SOUND BY CITIZEN WAY
From Oct. 17- Nov. 17, 21 local Allstate Insurance agencies will host a community-wide teddy bear drive partnering to benefit children in need at eight Clark County schools. To participate, drop off a new teddy bear to a participating Allstate office and help us reach our goal of collecting 1,200 bears - enough to provide one to each child. The teddy bears drive is part of a larger effort to raise funds, necessities and toys for the children in need at these local schools.
Visit the event page for a list of participating Allstate agents and financial specialists:

Coat Drive Helps Local People in Need Stay Warm
Healthcare Preparatory Institute and One Warm Coat®,
warming communities…one coat at a time.
[Las Vegas, NV September, 22, 2016] – There are over 35,000 homeless individuals in Clark County. For these families and individuals, a warm coat is a simple necessity they cannot afford. Healthcare Preparatory Institute (HPI) invites area residents to make a difference in the lives of the homeless of Clark County by donating coats at a time of year when the temperature begins to drop severely.
We invite you to JOIN US for the 3rd annual Walk For Freedom! The first in Las Vegas.
On October 15, we will fight together as a global community to illuminate the darkness of human trafficking, and raise funds to rescue and restore more lives than ever before. In over 250 locations around the world, we will lace up our shoes, put black tape on our mouths, and march in single-file to eradicate modern-day slavery for GOOD! Please purchase your A21 black shirt at http://www.a21.org/content/shop/gksgl4
You do not have to buy a shirt, but we are to look unified to bring awareness so please wear all black if you do not wish to purchase a shirt.
