Kids Come First is partnered with Comcast for the 14th annual Comcast Cares Day, the company’s signature day of service and the largest single-day corporate volunteer effort. Local Comcast employees and their family and friends will work alongside community volunteers on two different projects to benefit local children – first, gathering donations of new or slightly used clothing and school supplies for children from first grade through high school. Second, volunteer crews will give the nearby Poinciana Park a makeover by painting playground equipment, building picnic tables and benches and refurbishing existing landscaping and equipment.
