WHILE I'M WAITING BY JOHN WALLER
On Saturday, December 13th Believers Church will be giving away food boxes at the second annual Christmas in Jerome! 150 of these boxes will contain whole turkeys and be given away on a first come, first served basis.
The event will be held at North Park on Main Street. Believers Church Pursuit Youth will be hosting two activity booths for children where they can make ornaments, marshmallow shooters, and write letters to Santa! Santa will even be there!
All events, including the food give away, start at 4:00 pm and should be done at 6:00 pm when the light parade starts. There will be free cocoa, cider, cookies and potato/chili.
Free Services Booths: Blood Pressure Check; Reading Glasses Check; Bible Teachings and Giveaways.
This year the students of FGS will once again reach out to the community in service during the month of December. This year we will be collecting fresh fruits and vegetables again for the seniors who live in the Desert Plaza Apartments across the street from the school.
Each class has been assigned two items to bring in. We have asked for items like: broccoli, green beans, bananas, potatoes, squash, cucumbers, oranges, onions, tomatoes, pears, apples, carrots, avocado, and peppers. Once we have all the fruits and veggies on campus they will be bagged and then the students and teachers will walk across the street to deliver the gifts.
Come one, come all, and join our 8th Annual Christmas tree Fundraiser, benefiting:
