* The Church at South Las Vegas 3051 W Horizon Ridge Pkwy
* any of the 8 All Storage of Las Vegas Locations.
We are collecting Winter Coats for four area local elementary schools: Sewell, Whitney, Roundy, and Taylor Elementary Schools.
Our goal is to collect 5,000 coats.
The winter holidays are often dubbed “the most wonderful time of the year.” However, for people facing the recent death of a loved one, the holidays may instead be a time filled with pain and sadness. Even if a loved one passed away many years ago, the holidays may trigger powerful memories of that loss – not only of the person, but of traditions and celebrations as well.
Christin Mowery was one of the little girls hit in the crosswalk back in October. This is an opportunity to bring meals to the family. They have been by Chrisin's side in UMC Peds trauma center. Visit the website for instructions and time slots to sign up for.
A walk to raise funds for Leukemia & Lymphoma research and hopefully a cure! Funds also provide free educational materials and events for patients & their families; local programs such as Family Support Groups & First Connection, a peer to peer counseling program; Comprehensive, personalized assistance through LLS Information Resource Center.
Come join us Saturday November 5th @ 5pm @ Kellogg Zaher Park, Washington & Buffalo. You can place a donation online at their website if you can't make it to the walk. It looks like you have to have to know of a team to donate? If you need one, I'm walking on Team Smaka. She is a survivor!
We are collecting non-perishable food items to go inside of our holiday food boxes. We are delivering 400 food boxes for Thanksgiving and 300 food boxes for Christmas.
