When a child or teen loses a parent or sibling, they may have trouble coping with the grief and anxiety that follow. Camp Solari, sponsored by the non-profit Solari Hospice Foundation, offers a nurturing, healing, safe sanctuary where children ages 6 to 17, along with their surviving caregivers, can turn for help. The next Camp Solari will be held Oct. 12-14, 2012, at Mt. Charleston Lodge. Bereavement professionals at Las Vegas-based Clear View Counseling will be orchestrating and leading all grief camp activities. Camp Solari is free to participants thanks to fundraisers and charitable donations. Applications are accepted year-round. To apply, donate or for more information, go to www.solarihospicefoundation.org, call 1-877-795-8760 or e-mail Jamie@solarihospicefoundation.org.

Saturday, September 8th, we'll meet at Jerome Middle School and walk & pray through the surrounding neighborhoods. The school is located at 4250 Karen Ave in Las Vegas. Meet there at 8am! We had about 500 people walking at last month's prayer walk location. Crime has really dropped in the area where we held the last prayer walk! Bring your church or your youth group!
