United Way of Southern Nevada will be hosting “Flip Through Summer,” a family fun summer kickoff event. “Flip Through Summer” brings to life the magic of reading and some of children’s most beloved books and characters.

Aimed at inspiring children to continue reading during the summer, “Flip Through Summer” children will have the chance to make a reading pledge, create ‘The World’s Greatest Story’ and visit themed book nooks with live characters reading favorite children’s books. The event will also feature a book swap, live entertainment, child-friendly activities, special giveaways, community family resources and complimentary healthy snacks.
