Coat Drive Helps Local People in Need Stay Warm
Healthcare Preparatory Institute and One Warm Coat®,

[Las Vegas, NV September, 22, 2016] – There are over 35,000 homeless individuals in Clark County. For these families and individuals, a warm coat is a simple necessity they cannot afford. Healthcare Preparatory Institute (HPI) invites area residents to make a difference in the lives of the homeless of Clark County by donating coats at a time of year when the temperature begins to drop severely.

On October 15, we will fight together as a global community to illuminate the darkness of human trafficking, and raise funds to rescue and restore more lives than ever before. Harvest Fair Sunday is a day to come and worship together and then enjoy a completely free harvest fair with activities for the whole family. We will have over 500 FREE pumpkins to give away. National Night Out is an event that allows the community to come outside of their homes and fellowship with others. National Night Out is meant to build community relationships as well as community-police relationships. National Night Out makes neighborhoods safer, friendlier, and better places to live.
On October 4th at Maslow Park in Las Vegas, Nevada, South East Area Command of the Metropolitan Police Department will be holding a National Night Out in partnership with Desert Hills Baptist Church and Three Cord Ministries.
There will be free food, games, and live entertainment the whole night!
Fun, Food, Games and Prizes centered around encouraging and strengthening father/son and daddy/daughter relationships through the hope of the gospel.

In the spirit of St. Francis, Christ Church Episcopal will host a traditional "Blessing of the Animals" on Saturday, October 1 in the church courtyard at 2000 S. Maryland Parkway in Las Vegas.
