NAMI of Southern Nevada invites you, your family, and friends to join us on Saturday, October 4, 2014 for our annual 5K Walk. “NAMI WALKS 2014”
This event will be held at Sunset Park located on Sunset & Eastern.
From coast-to-coast and around the globe, mental illness affects everyone. Each year mental illness impacts the lives of at least one in four adults and one in ten children in the United States. NAMI of Southern Nevada and its dedicated volunteers work together to raise awareness about mental illness. We provide essential education, advocacy, and support group programs for individuals in our community living with mental illness and their loved ones.
All “Walkers” are welcome! All donations gratefully accepted.
Create A Change Now is a local Las Vegas non-profit 501c3 organization that is changing the way families eat by educating and empowering children to make healthier food choices that are nutritious and delicious. Create A Change Now - Healthy School, Healthy Life Program boasts of Edible Desert Gardens, Chefs in Schools, Lets Move and The Garden Club.
