First Henderson United Methodist Church to host Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser
October 13 - 31
Join us as we welcome the Fall season to this one-of-a kind family event. The annual Pumpkin Patch will be held daily, October 13 - 31, at First Henderson United Methodist Church.
The grounds of First Henderson United Methodist Church will overflow with bright orange pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and prices. “We are absolutely thrilled to bring this exciting event to the community,” said Jim Robinson, pastor of First Henderson United Methodist Church. “
Hours of the Pumpkin Patch are weekends 10am - 7pm and weekdays 12 (noon) - 7pm. Only cash is accepted.
Family Fest is a one day festival located at the downtown Ogden Amphitheater that is free for families in our community. The event will feature live entertainment from 6 bands, a children's entertainer, as well as a guest speaker. We will have a kids zone which will feature activities for children of all ages.

Refuge for Women will be operating a Fireworks Stand at Warm Springs and Fort Apache, across from Wet 'n' Wild from June 28-July 4. Hours of operation are 11am-11pm.
Refuge for Women is a faith-based non-profit organization in Las Vegas Nevada with a mission to provide healing and new beginnings to women coming out of the adult entertainment industry.

For a fun family outing, fireworks show and panoramic views of the Las Vegas Valley, mark your calendar for Friday, July 4 for the Stars, Stripes & Sparks Independence Day celebration at Knickerbocker Park in the Providence master planned community. The free event will feature live music from the Parametrics, contests and more, beginning at 6 p.m. and culminating with fireworks around 9:15 p.m. The park’s design and northwest Las Vegas site provide a great vantage point overlooking the city. Knickerbocker Park is located at 10695 Dorrell Lane, just off the North 215 Beltway and Hualapai Way exit.

National Day of Prayer Rally Community event at Barstow High School new gym, 7p. with a Marine Corps Color Guard, patriotic numbers by the Barstow Junior High School Band, a children's choir from Barstow Christian School, greetings from local dignitaries and military guests, presentation of a City Proclamation by Mayor Julie Hackbarth-McIntye, special music and speakers. Evening hosted by the Barstow Christian Ministerial Association.
