MATT MAHER-ALL THE PEOPLE SAID AMEN
The holidays are right around the corner and do we have something to get you in the holiday spirit!
The Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada is pleased to announce one of the largest holiday events to take place this season, The 25th Annual Festival of Trees and Lights a to be held at the Paris Las Vegas November 22 - November 24.
The FoTL is a community event, promoting awareness and inclusion for individuals with Down syndrome, for the whole family to enjoy during the holiday season. With the help of local organizations, businesses, community groups and individual contributors, The DSOSN's Festival of Trees and Lights will be an event not to be missed.
It is truly a magical display featuring beautifully decorated designer trees, wreaths, baskets, menorahs and stockings. This unique holiday celebration has become known as one of the premier Las Vegas holiday events of the season, and more importantly, is the largest fundraising event for the DSOSN. You will be making a tremendous contribution to our members with Down syndrome and supporting the much needed programs and services we offer.
The event begins Friday with a black-tie optional gala, starting with a silent auction of the trees, wreaths, baskets and more from 6-8pm and entertainment throughout the evening. Dinner and awards will commence at 8pm and ends with an exciting live auction!
Tickets are $275. A table of 10 is $2475 with purchasers getting one ticket FREE. Tickets can be purchased by calling the DSOSN at 648-1990 or through our website dsosn.org.
In honor of reaching this historical milestone, DSOSN has extended the event to 3 days and this is your special invitation to help us celebrate! Local area designers have showcased their creative talents in the beautiful tree and wreaths and the children can participate in a variety of children's activities and entertainment throughout the weekend.
Viewing of the trees will be Saturday, November 23 11am - 9pm and Sunday 11am to 5pm.
Tickets for this event are $5 adults, $3 Seniors 60+ and $2 children ages 2-20.
100% of the proceeds from this event stays in our organization and will benefit our Down syndrome members and their families here in So. Nevada by providing the much-needed programs and services we offer them.
