Young ghosts, goblins, pirates and princesses are invited to trick-or-treat in Water Street District in historic downtown Henderson. The inaugural Safe Street Trick-or-Treat will be noon to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 29.
Children of all ages are encouraged to wear costumes and visit area businesses, shops and restaurants along Water Street and Pacific Ave. to collect Halloween treats. Holiday activities also will be held in the Henderson Events Plaza, 200 Water Street, including entertainment by Kid Fiddlers, Farmer’s Market, vendor booths, and free pumpkins and Jack-O-Lantern painting for the first 500 children. Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult.
