The church will host our annual Easter egg hunt with a special toddler area, event is open to children ages 0 to 5th grade. The egg hunt will have more than 2,500 eggs with entertainment before the egg hunt, a puppet presentation and performance by STYX (a youth ministry of FHUMC).
Traditional Protestant Good Friday service at Westminster Presbyterian Church will also feature prayer healing efforts for any who request them. We lay hands upon the head and upper body of those who request healing or deliverance and pray for a few minutes that God will grant the request. While we believe it helps if the sufferer believes in the healing power of God, we do not believe it absolutely necessary, because the faith of those who pray, and their sincere prayers, may be sufficient in the eyes of God. Church is located at 4601 W. Lake Mead Blvd. (Between Decatur and Rancho). (702) 648-8437
