Every 3rd Saturday of each month they have a adoption and medical funraiser at Boxers Pizza and Sandwich shop from 11am TO 4PM for Boxers(the breed). They are in need of donations such at food, collars, and medical money donations(Desert Inn Animal Hospital). They also need some good families for foster care and adoptions. Some of these dogs have been turned in because of there families can't take care of them anymore-- either they had to move or because they could not afford them anymore. Las Vegas Boxer Club and Rescue need help. I am trying to help them as much as possible and I pray every day for help. I ask God what is my calling and I think this is what I need to do. I know this is not a human need but for some reason I keep coming back to this wonderful organization for boxers.
Black Mountain Community Church and Black Mountain Academy is Hosting a Car Show on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 11 am to 3 pm at the Discount Tire Parking Lot, 432 West Lake Mead Pkwy, Near Big Lots and Target in Henderson, NV 89015. This event is family friendly with face painting, balloons, Monster Truck Jump House for the kids. There will be many raffle prizes and 50's Music. All types of cars are welcome to register for the Car Show. A $20.00 Registration fee is required to enter your car. This is our initial meeting for our mission trip to the orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico this August. If you've been on a mission trip before, or if you've thought about going on one be sure to join us to get the information and then decide if you want to come along!
We will be holding a Kids Festival to spread awareness for our foundation to serve weekend food bags to needy children in the Clark County School District. We will have many activities all day, such as: Food, games, bounce houses, cake walks, entertainment. We will feature Doc's Smokin' Good BBQ Ribs. Plan to bring the whole family and share in the fun for the day. Sat. May 18 from 10am - 4pm.
