This program is free to all children and held the second Sat of each month.

Brand new Celebrate Recovery 12 Step study staring at Central's Northeast Campus, 1460 Tree Line Drive, Las Vegas, NV. 89142 Monday's from 6:30-8:30 p.m. A Step Study is where the true pick and shovel work of recovery takes place by working through the Celebrate Recovery Participant's Guides based on the 12 Steps and the 8 Beatitudes. Enrollment will be open for one month. There is no cost to attend other than purchasing the 4 Participant's Guides, which are $20. There is no registration process either, just show up. This is a safe place where there is a community of folks who will be there to walk along your side in your journey of recovery.

Households with an income of less than $51,000 in 2012 can receive free tax preparation through United Way’s “Earn It Keep It Save It” program. Individuals and families may be eligible for an Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) refund of up to $5,891. The EITC is one of the nation’s most effective anti-poverty programs for low-income, working taxpayers.
For those unable to make it to these events, United Way will have more than 30 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance sites open across the Las Vegas Valley January 28 through April 15.
The public can dial 2-1-1 or visit uwsn.org/free-tax-help or go to eksnv.org to find the nearest tax preparation site, eligibility requirements and documents they will need to bring to the tax site.

Calvary Chapel Spring Valley is hosting the "2nd Annual Running with the Lions 5K / 1 Mile Fun Run!"
Come race with us! This 5K & picnic was HUGE last year. There's Live music, jumpers, food, vendors & raffles. There's medals 3 deep in every age category and gender! All children 12 & under receive a Finishers Medal! Even if you don't come to race, you can join us for the picnic after!
The picnic starts 11:00am with FREE barbecue and a potluck.
Join us on March 1st and 2nd at the Ford Country auto dealership for free FBI quality digital fingerprint and photographs from one of the top child safety programs in the country! The Keeping Kids Safe Project will take a child’s fingerprints and send them home with parents. Parents can use the record to turn directly over to authorities anywhere in the world to instantly aid in an investigation. There will also be community organizations present to provide safety information for families.
