With Jesus I Really Am Complete | Brian Scaplen Poem | SOS Radio

My friend Brian shared this poem with me about a few things that God challenged him with after reading through Titus in the Bible.

What's God challenged you with so far this year?

Former mob boss Michael Franzese talks about how God moved him away from the mafia. His story is powerful! I can't believe I got away with asking some of the questions I did about the mafia! -Scott@SosRadio.net

I've been watching my little girl Avery learn to walk.

It's a bittersweet experience, because with every step, she becomes a little more independant. With every step, she can choose to walk in any direction, blazing her own trail. That's how it is watching your kids grow: the more like you they become, the less they actually need your help.

Workship is a monthly event at Desert Spring United Methodist Church to provide service to the community. This month we will be teaming up with Outside Las Vegas and University United Methodist Church to clean up Bill Braire Park. Participants will be broken up into teams to clean the playground, weed along the loop trail, clear debris along the fence line, clear trash and remove graffiti along the adjacent trail, and possibly paint hydrants in the neighborhood. This is an opportunity for us to show Christ’s love in action by helping to beautify our city. Meet at the Desert Spring parking lot at 9:30 am and plan to be back at the church by 12:30. Bring work gloves, smiling faces, and a willingness to get your hands dirty. All are welcome!
