The two-day seminar will provide a Biblical foundation for parenting and teach practical, hands-on parenting methodology. The seminar is based on the Family Teaching Model and the book "Common Sense Parenting" by Ray Burke P.H.D., Roy Herron and Bridget A. Barnes. The Parenting Seminar will be presented by Kelly Mulari and Maggie Copper. This event is sponsored by SMC's Woman of Grace Ministry.
Friday's Session (7p.m. to 9p.m.) will be focused on Biblical examples on how NOT to parent, and how TO parent, as well as group discussions designed to set the stage for the next day.

I am hosting a fund raising event at Canyon Crest Dining and Event Center Saturday Feb. 4th from 5 to 8 pm. This event will be a dinner/raffle. The dinner will include:Parmesan Crusted Chicken with a Parmesan Cream Sauce, Tossed Salad, Rice Pilaf, and a seasonal Vegetable. The Cost is $10 per plate and raffle tickets are $5 or 5 for $20. Some of the items will include: a year supply of dairy ($600 value), many gift certificates from many of our local businesses, hand made crafts, and gift baskets. I am holding this event for a very needy family the D'Ambra family.
