Identity Theft: How can you protect yourself? Or if you are a victim what should do? A FREE conference will be held at the Herrett Center on the campus of CSI on July 12, 2012 from 8:45 until noon. Representatives from the Consumer Protection Office of the Attorney General, Credit Counseling, Better Business Bureau, Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Department, IRS, Idaho State Tax Commission, Idaho Department of Finance and a Certified Identity Theft Risk Specialist will be there to discuss the issues and answer your questions. The American Board, a non-profit dedicated to recruiting and certifying teachers in Idaho, will host a public event on how local residents can become certified Idaho teachers.

Attendees will learn what to expect in a career as a teacher and receive advisement on a personalized path to certification.

The event will be held Tuesday, July 3 at Red Lion Canyon Springs, 1357 Blue Lakes Blvd. N., in Twin Falls and will be led by Idaho Teacher Certification Specialist Michael Burke. Session will begin at 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm.
