My boyfriend has a drinking problem

My boyfriend of 5 years is a wonderful person. But ever once and awhile he drinks way too much.... He has been away from our house the past two nights. I trying so hard to just pray & hope for the best. I just want him to come home & face the fact that he needs help. I am so scared. Jesus please help us. Please watch over my boyfriend John. I love him.
