Nevada Reading Week

Event Date:
04/03/2017 (All day)

March 3
, 2017

Dear Community Member,

I am excited to share with you that Katz Elementary School will be celebrating Nevada Reading Week from April3rd to April 7th. Nevada Reading Week provides the opportunity for schools throughout our state to engage in a variety of activities that promote literacy, books, and develop a love of reading.

One of the events that students always look forward to during this week is having guest readers from the community visit the school and read to them. This year’s theme is “Camp Read – Nevada, USA.” As a guest reader you serve as a positive role model for our students. Students can hear about different occupations in the community and how important it is to be a life-long reader.
