Las Vegas - Nehemiah Ministries Christian Church will host the Blended Family Conference on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 9AM-5PM.

“With statistics reporting that 65% of all remarriages involve children from prior marriages and only 30% of children live with either their biological mother or father, the request for from families to receive some best practices for the blended family has been overwhelming,” says Pastor Kelcey West, Conference Host. “Because blended families have been reported since 2010 to be the predominant family form in the United States, we must increase our efforts to educate and encourage parents to take the necessary steps to understand the challenges and unique dynamics that a blended family can and will have on their marriage and their children.”

Experienced and trained workshop facilitators will explore the following topics: Speak Now Or Forever Hold Your Peace (Discussing Your Parental Concerns Before You Say I Do) * Who’s On First (How To Define And Develop The Roles And Rules Of The Biological and Stepparent) * Honesty Is The Best Policy (How To Love a child and/or Children That You Don’t Like) * When Is Enough…Enough (How To Give And Receive Support From The Biological Parent/Family) * What’s Most Important (How To Detect When The Blending of Families Is Destroying Your Marriage).

The conference will be held at Nehemiah Ministries Christian Church (3606 N. Rancho Drive * Suite 144 * Las Vegas, NV 89130) and the registration fee is $25 per person or $40 per couple and includes workshop materials, lunch and conference giveaways.

Please call (702) 645-2544 to RSVP and/or for more information.
