5th Annual “LET HEAVEN & NATURE SING”: A Christmas Event For Local Charities

For the fifth year in a row, local singers, instrumentalists, and dancers are coming together to perform a Christmas Concert and raise money for four local charities! The guest host for this year’s concert is longtime Las Vegas singer, and former Miss Texas & Miss America finalist, Dana Martin. This year we want to reach out to our community. There are a lot of exciting changes coming to Community Lutheran . Our senior pastor, Dr. Mark Wickstrom, has retired after 13 years, and our new senior pastor, Ben Bergren, from northern California, would love to meet the community that has surrounded this church for over 45 years, while celebrating the birth of Christ & the season with the Las Vegas Community!

The Christmas Concert is free and will take place on December 13, 14 & 15: Friday & Saturday, at 7:00 PM, and Sunday at 2:00PM - at Community Lutheran Church (3720 E Tropicana Ave, between Pecos & Sandhill). The audience is invited to come early (5PM on Friday & Saturday - 12 noon on Sunday) and enjoy a Christmas Boutique - “Heavenly Treasures Market” (Lots of great Christmas Shopping provided by our church ministries & various groups), a Children’s Shopping Area (with wrapping station), food, bake sale, strolling carolers, and an opportunity to visit & take photos with Santa Claus!

The concert is free, but audience members are encouraged to bring cash, check or gift card donation for the sponsored charities and for each gift, the audience member will be given the chance to win some wonderful Christmas prizes! 100% of the donations given at this event will be gifted to Family Promise of Las Vegas, Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, Vets for Abandoned Pets, and Carolyn’s Kids Closets.
