Taking my own life

Recently I have been struggling with the thought of taking my own life. I DO NOT EVER want to go down that path, yet the thoughts are hard to shake sometimes. Please pray that God will break the bond that ties me to these thoughts and the strength to never give into these thoughts. May the light and strength of Jesus break the bonds.

Jen - 17 years ago I did try

Jen - 17 years ago I did try to commit suicide. I cannot tell you how immensely thankful I am that my attempt was unsuccessful! Please know that God has a dream for your life. He loves you more than you can fathom and wants only your ultimate good. I pray that you would be surrounded by unconditional love and friendship, that you would know and feel Jesus' care and concern for you, and that you will rely on him and find the strength he has to give.

Nothing is worth that! Hold

Thank you to all of you. I really appreciate it.

Jen, You stay strong.

You stay strong. What youare feeling many have felt but keep in mind that Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for you to be SAVED and a child of God! He asks that you give your worries and burdens to him!

Here are a few verses that might help you along the way:

Romans 8:31 says that What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.

Jen, we will be praying for strength and healing for you! Things DO get better, always with God! <><
