Operation: Got You Covered!
New socks and underwear are among the top clothing needs of those experiencing homelessness or deep financial struggle. These items can be pricey, and aren't usually carried at local thrift stores for obvious reasons.
Without access to laundry, those who are struggling or on the streets will need to discard old socks and underwear after a few days of use... and that's if they have those articles of clothing at all. No, it’s not pretty, but it is reality.
Together, as the SOS Radio Family, we can bring tangible hope to those who need it the most!
Introducing, "Operation: Got You Covered!"
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to donate as many pairs of new socks and underwear of all sizes as possible! (Now - May 31st!)
By donating, fresh, new, socks and underwear, you'll be helping to keep men, women, and children, healthy and protected from serious potential health issues down the road. Your donation will not only cover those in need physically, you will be covering them with the love of God through your generosity!

- Collect items at your workplace with coworkers
- Collect items with your friends

New Journey Church invites EVERYONE to join them for an event that was created to provide for the needs of individuals and families, and for those who are struggling or homeless. Get connected with all of these FREE services:
- Free medical check ups
- Free dental check ups
- Free vision check ups
- Free haircuts
- Free food and refreshments
- Free games, prizes, and face painting
New Journey Church’s 6th Annual United Community Event Details
What: The United Community event will connect the community with the largest service organizations in Las Vegas. It's an incredible opportunity to love those less fortunate.
Where: New Journey Church parking lot | 4640 E Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89121
When: Saturday, June 1, 2024, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Organizations In Attendance:
- Three Square Food Bank will be on site to offer assistance.
- McGruff the Crime Dog will be there with LVMPD to entertain the kids
- Street Dogz LV outreach to the homeless community’s pets.
- Project 150 will be on site, extending services to the homeless and less fortunate high school students in Southern Nevada.
- Food will be served by the Full Armour Motorcycle Ministry
- The SOS Radio Street Team will be on hand passing out SOS Swag, and providing music.
SOS is a non-profit, commercial-free ministry. We are supported by the generosity of those who listen and appreciate what they hear.
