Taylor Mills

Taylor Mills was born in Azle, Texas, and raised in Clear Lake City, just outside Houston. Her radio journey has taken her across the country from New York to Nashville, East Tennessee, Cincinnati, back home to Houston, and to the Pacific Northwest, where she’s been heard in Seattle, Bellingham, and beyond. She's now excited to be part of SOS Radio. 

Taylor spent 12 years waking up East Tennessee before making a life-changing move into Christian radio in 2015. That decision came in the middle of one of the hardest seasons of her life. After walking through a devastating divorce, she says she didn’t just find a new career she found Jesus in a deeper, more personal way. Through that journey, she discovered that even when God’s plan is painful, His way is always better than our own.

Since then, Taylor has made it her mission to remind people that no one is beyond hope, no story is too broken for God to redeem, and that Jesus still changes lives every single day.

Taylor is the proud mom of two. Her son, Drew, is 21 and entering his senior year of college, and her daughter, Waverly, is 18 and beginning her college journey. As a single mom for many years, Taylor understands the joys, challenges, and sacrifices of raising children on her own. Although she has never remarried since her divorce became final in 2016, she continues to trust God with the prayers that are still waiting to be answered.

When she’s not on the air, you’ll usually find Taylor spending time in prayer with her longtime prayer partner and dear friend, Carla, encouraging others, enjoying time with family and close friends, or making memories with her boyfriend, Julio.

Whether she’s behind a microphone or having a one-on-one conversation, Taylor’s heart is the same: to point people to Jesus, remind them that God specializes in the impossible, offer hope in life’s hardest moments, and encourage others to trust that God is still writing their story. She believes the best chapters are often the ones we never saw coming.
