God's Will Is Always Related To His Word...

When we want to know God's will, we have to read his Word. Believe it or not, The Bible is the first place Jesus reveals his heart for us. The Psalmist said, “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” (Psalm 119:105)

There's a consistent theme through Psalm 119 about how the Word of God is all sufficient. Not somewhat trustworthy or compartmentalized to faith topics, or valuable with some of your work stress. God says He is ALL sufficient, so his Word is sufficient for every thing. (It's relevant to every situation.)

God doesn’t intend for you to wander through life without clear direction. He's invited you to have a personal relationship with Him, but it all starts with actually spending time reading His Word. He's already revealed his moral will there. His Word is also where he reveals his heart for you & I. His Word is where he explains the relationship between love, conviction, grace and living by a higher standard than our world celebrates.

If we want to know God's heart, we have to spend the time to read his Word.

“The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the LORD are sure and altogether righteous.” -Psalm 19:7–9
