On Saturday, October 8th 2022, Awaken Church (formerly Calvary Chapel) will host a Family Empowerment Summit. The Family Empowerment Summit is focused on empowering parents, guardians, grandparents, etc., with information and practical tools to protect children from the dangers of human trafficking, online exploitation, grooming, and other means of child exploitation.

The 2 keynote speakers are Elynne Green, Director of LVMPD's Human Trafficking Task Force, and Brad Dennis. Brad is a retired Cryptologic Master Chief Petty Officer of the US Navy, former director of KLASS Kids, and founder of Called 2 Rescue. Brad has over 30 years of experience and has managed over 300 rescue/abduction cases around the country.

Break out sessions will be the most informative we have ever had. Topics include:
• Root Issues of Human Trafficking
• Groomed by the Media
• Prevention and Intervention
• Guiding your Family Through a Pornified World
• Internet Safety and Cyber Predators
• Community Action and Involvement
• Youth Only - Survival, Success and Significance"
and others

This will be the best Empowerment Summit yet.
