If you have trouble finding clarity in your prayers, think about how you look at absolute truth.

If you allow your feelings or your circumstances change the way you see truth, you're not going to see much clarity. Reset your truth on the anchor of God's word, because it never change! 

In Proverbs 3:5, King Solomon said, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek God's will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.”
