First Henderson United Methodist Church is hosting our annual Pet Blessing and Adoption Day on May 18, 2024 from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

This event is going to provide community outreach from multiple local businesses and pet related city services. Additionally, there will be two adoption agencies bringing adoptable animals that are looking for a new forever home. Reverend Sarah Moon will be blessing any pet that you bring with you. (leashed/crated/spayed/neutered/vaccinated as required by law) They will receive a certificate of blessing and a gift from First Henderson UMC. If that still is not enough, Quadmama’s Empanadas Food Truck will be in the parking lot selling lunch.

First Henderson is providing this community outreach at no charge to any of the exhibitors, and there is no cost to anyone who wants to attend or have their pet blessed. There will be a prize drawing, and the net proceeds from the drawing will be donated to the two animal adoption agencies.

First Henderson UMC is located at 609 East Horizon Drive in Henderson, near the intersection of Horizon and College Drive.
