Maybe You Aren't Feeling Noticed...

Last week, Kelsey Zwick was traveling from Orlando to Philly with her 11 month old daughter who suffers from a chronic lung disease. Kelsey was lugging her bags, a purse and her daughter's oxygen machine through the plane all the way to the back! One first class passenger noticed and offered up his seat so Kelsey and her toddler would be more comfortable.

A flight attendant approached Kelsey and invited her up to first class. Kelsey was tearing up, while her daughter was just laughing.  She felt her daughter's laugh in her bones! Real, pure, joy. Kelsey posted about it on Facebook to thank the man for the seat. She said, "I smiled and thanked you as we switched but didn’t get to thank you properly. Sooo… thank you. Not just for the seat itself but for noticing. For seeing us and realizing that maybe things are not always easy. For deciding you wanted to show a random act of kindness to US. It reminded me how much good there is in this world.” Here's the full story.

I think Kelsey's story is a great reminder that so many of us are not feeling noticed this Christmas.

The struggle, the pain, the stress and the isolation. This story is a challenge to look for the people in our circle of influence that we can notice and intentionally show love to this month. Let's notice those who are feeling isolated and do something about it! - Scott@SosRadio.net
